About x402card

x402card is a wallet-native x402 commerce service with two products: virtual cards issued and funded through owner-controlled payment flows, and prepaid Freeland travel eSIMs delivered privately after an exact Base-USDC payment.

Product boundary

The wallet is the account; there is no email/password identity.
The virtual card and travel eSIM are independent products with separate fulfillment states.
The card is the destination for card funding; there is no user-facing app-balance product.
An eSIM can be bought directly through x402 without owning a card.
Card credentials and eSIM installation credentials use separate owner-private delivery controls.
Current card infrastructure is provided through VALUT; the public eSIM seller is Freeland.

Current status

The API is in production. Public card issuance and public eSIM purchase are currently enabled, subject to their separate live readiness and provider gates. The live public config and eSIM readiness are authoritative.
